The Argentina Kabaddi Association initiated the change of its National Stadium name to “Gehlot Stadium” in honor of Jarnardhan Singh Gehlot, a Kabaddi-Late’s godfather.
The Secretary and President of the Argentina Kabaddi Association signed the circular to change the National Stadium’s name to ”Gehlot Stadium” in memory of Jarnardhan Singh Gehlot who died just a few days ago. Jarnardhan Singh Gehlot has contributed a lot to the development of kabaddi in Argentina and all around the world. Thus, the Argentina Kabaddi Association paid tribute to the well-respected man in the world’s kabaddi.
Jarnardhan Singh Gehlot served as the President of International Kabaddi Federation and is known for putting Kabaddi on the world map, increasing the sport’s popularity worldwide. He was also the vice-president of the International Olympic Committee working on introducing Kabaddi in the Olympics in the future.
